This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information for the paid pet memorial video service on this website. It is specific to this Service and separate from the SoulBridge app privacy policy.
1. Introduction
This policy describes what information we collect when you order a Refined Edition memorial video, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies only to this paid video production service.
2. Who We Are
SoulBridge operates this memorial video service. If you have any privacy questions or requests, you can reach us at the contact email at the end of this policy.
3. Information We Collect
We collect the information you submit in the order form: your pet’s name, how you refer to yourself, your contact email, the message and story you write, and the pet photos you upload. We also derive privacy-preserving technical fingerprints (hashed IP, device and user-agent) for fraud and abuse prevention, and we store order and payment status information returned by our payment provider.
4. Payment Information
Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Your card and billing details are entered with Paddle, not with us. We receive only limited transaction metadata (such as an order/transaction reference, amount, currency, payment status and customer email) needed to fulfill and account for your order. We never receive or store your full card number.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to produce and deliver your memorial video, to communicate with you about your order, to provide customer support, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep records required for accounting and legal compliance.
6. Sharing
We share information only as needed to run the Service: with Paddle for payment processing; with Cloudflare for website hosting, database and file storage; and with the production tools used to render your video. We do not sell your personal information or use it for unrelated advertising.
7. Data Retention
Uploaded photos are retained only as long as needed to produce and deliver your video and to handle revisions, and are then scheduled for deletion (by default within about 60 days). Order and transaction records are kept longer where required for accounting, tax and legal purposes. You may request earlier deletion of your photos and story (see Your Rights).
8. Security
We use reputable infrastructure and access controls to protect your information in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your data.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us with your order reference and we will respond within a reasonable time. Payment records held by Paddle are subject to Paddle’s own privacy policy.
10. Children
This Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Optional Social Sharing
If you explicitly opt in, we may feature your pet’s finished video on SoulBridge social media to help others remember their companions. This is entirely optional, off by default, and you can withdraw consent by contacting us.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
